Here's an old web scraping web app I built last year in Jedit. I like the color coding in the syntax a lot, but the white background is draining my eyes.
You can change the background. click on the wrench and screwdriver button in your tool bar. That will open up your global settings. Head over to "text area". click the color box for background color and pick your poison. Make sure to change the font color of course if its in the same realm.
